Pio Perez

Hello! My name is Pio H. Perez, and I grew up in the city of Anaheim, CA.

I recently graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Business Management Economics and a minor in Sustainability. I am now a graduate student at UCLA, pursuing both a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Sciences and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning.

At UC Santa Cruz, I worked as a student leader with two student services programs: as an Outreach Coordinator for Underground Scholars and as a Legal Intern for UC Immigrant Legal Services & Undocumented Student Services. In both of these roles, I assisted students with their post-graduation plans, such as housing, internship/job placements, graduate school, and more. I am now continuing that work with UCLA Financial Wellness, assisting fellow students with their financial goals!

My Financial Wellness tip is to regularly review your credit report, checking your own credit report does not hurt your credit score!
