Ainslee Preciado
Hello, Bruins! My name is Ainslee Preciado, and I'm excited to serve as your Financial Wellness Graduate Student Consultant while I pursue my Ph.D. in International and Comparative Education.
Born to two wonderful Mexican-American parents in Bell Gardens, California, my journey began in this community and continues to evolve at UCLA. My experiences, both personal and professional, have provided me with an understanding of the challenges and opportunities associated with financial literacy. I've seen firsthand how knowledge—or the lack thereof—can shape futures. This insight has fueled my enthusiasm for financial education and I hope to help equip fellow graduate students to navigate some of these complexities as we move through our academic journey.
A fun fact about me: I'm on a mission to explore all 50 U.S. states, and I've made it to 23 thus far, so you can count on finding me on the road (when time and budget permits)! I look forward to sharing insights and learning together!
